Gayatri Lele (b. 1998, India) is a Singapore-based artist currently pursuing her MA in Art Therapy at Lasalle College of the Arts after completing her BA in Fine Art in 2020 from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (in collaboration with the University of Central Lancashire). Earlier in her artistic career, Gayatri’s works were an inquiry into the body and the ways it could be used as a medium in art making, using primarily sculptural, tough, and three-dimensional mediums. She has since shifted toward more fluid mediums, mainly paint, reflecting her deepening exploration of inner-worlds and therapeutic self-expression.
