We come to counselling to heal from emotional pain, which is just as real as the physical one, or to find ways to change something in ourselves and in our lives. Counselling creates an environment and possibility for healing by drawing on the uniquely human ability to connect through an honest heart-to-heart conversation.
Counselling is a collaboration where, by working together, we combine your knowledge of yourself and your situation with the wealth of experience accumulated by our counsellor. Doing so opens up new possibilities of resolving challenges and conflicts, bringing about positive change, reducing psychological struggle and pain, and creating more harmony and balance in your life.
We offer the following therapies:
Single-session counselling – You work with our therapist on a particular issue within the session and leave with clarity and a few solutions to the issue;
Multi-session counselling – A collaborative effort between you and our therapist to map out long-term objectives you would like to achieve within set parameters;
Individual Counselling; and
Couples Counselling
We will be using an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, which will be tailored to each individual’s clients goals and timelines.
