We support our client with Thyroid or Adrenal health protocols, which include introducing foods that help balance the hormonal dysfunction and advise on strengthening certain lifestyle habits.
A detailed review of the blood work and any doctor’s advice and assessment is taken into close consideration and a meal plan for balancing hormonal health is crafted. The meal plan will cater to the different stages of the client’s menstrual cycle. For Menopausal health, the foods included in the meal plan will be those that will help alleviate menopausal symptoms. Alongside food advice, the lifestyle domains that will help balance hormonal health will be discussed and included in the plan.

A detailed review of the most recent blood work (6 months and under) and a health history is taken. Food intolerances, if any, are discussed. A microbiome analysis is advised to determine gut health and overall health. The first week the client is given an anti-inflammatory diet. Following that, a meal plan for enhancing gut health is made specific to the client’s condition and food tolerances. In addition, optimization of lifestyle habits is advised and supported in the program.

The 3 months’ program includes weekly 45 minute reviews, preferably in person.
In the Circle of Life assessment, goals are decided by the client through coaching methods that enable the client to determine her/his goals – a comprehensive, yet manageable, plan is led by the client and closely guided by us. This plan is a working document with the client’s specific goals and actions. The client documents her/his progress daily.
This program starts with a cleanse with anti-inflammatory foods. The Client receives daily feedback.
Daily focus on physical activity, sleep and a mindful practice.
In-person pantry visits, cooking tips, and a customised weekly menu.

We give them the tools to make healthy life choices; the ability to become introspective and to learn to choose foods that nourish their individual bodies, to ensure they develop a healthy relationship with food and to support and enhance their wellbeing with healthy life habits.

Mindful eating exercises (i.e. slow chewing, tasting and texture awareness) are introduced and practiced in the program (intended to develop eating habits that allow for healthy digestion and ensure adequate absorption of nutrients).
Sampling of a variety foods of different nutritional profiles.
A meditative practice is taught (to help relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety).
A trip to the grocery shop to study labelling and learning about alternative sugars.
